Institutional Membership

The Tennessee Association of Museums (TAM) welcomes all types of museums and historic sites as Institutional Members. Joining as an Institutional Member is an important investment for your museum, it provides tremendous career development, skill-building, and professional networking opportunities for staff, volunteers and board of directors. Dues are prorated according to your museum’s annual operating budget, but all Institutional Members receive immediate access to the following benefits:

Subscription to the TAM e-newsletter
Free registration for regional workshops, including collections care and management and disaster preparedness
Membership discount for registration at the TAM Annual Conference with its focus on professional training and leadership development
Accesss to scholarship opportunities for the TAM Annual Conference
Eligibility to submit nominations to the TAM Awards Committee for consideration for TAM Awards of Excellence and Commendation
Voting privileges at the TAM Annual Business Meeting (Institutional Members receive one vote by the registered delegate.)
Eligibility to serve on the TAM Board of Directors and Committees
