Greetings! The Northeast Document Conservation Center is currently hiring a Field Archivist for Audio Collections. This position is focused on supporting the HBCU Radio Preservation Project, a long-term initiative led by Miami Valley Public Media/91.3WYSO and generously funded by the Mellon Foundation. As a full-time remote position, the Field Archivist will be responsible for preservation assessments at HBCU radio stations and provide ongoing assistance to these stations as they work towards their preservation goals.
The ideal candidate would be an HBCU alum and near HBCU campuses in the Southeast. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with education, experience, and skill. NEDCC offers an excellent retirement/benefits package. Computer/software and travel funds will be provided.
