There's An App For That!
Download the FREE PiggyBack App today!

We hope everyone is as excited about this year's conference as your TAM, TPT and STA boards and planning committees are. Many people have been working hard to ensure that this will be one of the most informative and entertaining conferences that Nashville has ever hosted!  And to make your conference experience even better, there's an App for that!

Get session details at your fingertips via PiggyBack, a FREE mobile app developed by ASH Interactive for iOS, Android and Kindle devices. To download the most
recent version of the app, simply click HERE or go to
your app store of choice. After the app has been installed on your device, you can scroll through the menu until you see the TAM logo, or press the 'magic wand' in the upper right corner. Touch the TAM logo and you'll see the conference information right at your fingertips. And remember, it's all FREE!!

***If you used the app last year, you will need the updated version ***

Win a FREE Flat Screen Television!

 Once again, we welcome our vendors and business partners to our Exhibitor Showcase. These are the folks who provide museums with so many of the day to day items we need, and all the things we didn't know we needed! There will be a cocktail hour Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 to meet and mingle with our exhibitors.  And this will be a GREAT time to pick up your Exhibitor's Passport and check in with all of the great folks who support Tennessee museums. Visit each exhibitor and have them mark on your passport that you stopped by. When your Passport is completed, drop it off at the registration table for a drawing to win a FREE flat screen color television. Drawing will be held Friday at the closing luncheon;
you must be present to win.

Don't Forget Your Auction Items!!

All proceeds from the silent and live auctions benefit YOU and your organization! Free passes, books, hotel and restaurant gift certificates, artwork, clothing....anything goes! Bring your items along with an auction registration form, found HERE for each item. There will be a check-in table at the registration area at the hotel in Nashville.

Your support is greatly appreciated!!

The More You Know....
As you're packing your bags and checking your lists, we wanted to remind you of a few key things before you hit the road to Nashville this week. We want everyone to not only meet fellow TAM, TPT and STA members and learn during sessions, but to have a great time during all our planned events and not miss out on fun opportunities.
Read on for some key things to know:

Wednesday Evening - Awards Night at Andrew Jackson's The Hermitage
Join all three organizations for Awards Night at the home of the 7th President of the United States, Andrew Jackson from 5:30 – 6:30pm. Afterwards, enjoy cocktails in the visitor’s center, visit the award winning exhibit “Born for A Storm,” and tour the Hermitage — the formal gardens, grounds and the tomb of President and Rachel Jackson. Partake of dinner at your leisure in the Cabin-by-the-Spring. Dress to impress but wear comfortable shoes for touring the grounds.

Thursday - Buses will leave the hotel at 1:15 and WILL NOT return to the hotel until AFTER the evening event.  Plan to bring everything you will need for the afternoon and evening with you.
We encourage you to wear GREEN and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Nashville!!

Thursday Afternoon - Off-site sessions around downtown Nashville
Buses will transport conference delegates to downtown Nashville for a number of different tours. After, buses will travel to the Heard Library at Vanderbilt University for a tour of their exhibits and a reception.

Thursday Evening - Auction and Dinner at Musician's Hall of Fame and Museum
Enjoy cocktails and view one of Nashville’s newest museums, including the just added Grammy Museum. From 7-9pm enjoy dinner and the always entertaining live auction.  2 buses will return to the hotel after dinner and the auction.

Thursday Late Night - History and Honky Tonk Tour (Optional)
Jenn Harrman, Marketing Coordinator for the Tennessee Preservation Trust, has designed a self-guided educational pub crawl of downtown Nashville’s historic bars. Experience Nashville’s history, from politics and country music to prohibition, brothels and gambling, through the historic buildings along lower Broadway and Printer’s Alley. Any food or beverages purchased are on your own and not included in the conference fee.

Final bus will return to the hotel at 11pm. If you miss the bus, you are responsible for your own transportation back to the hotel.

   Don't Forget These Items:

1. Comfy clothes and shoes
There’s a lot of walking, bag-carrying, sitting, standing, and networking going on, and you want to be comfy while you're doing it. Throw in a light sweater for those chilly session rooms.

2. Business cards
For all those networking connections you're going to make, bring a stack. Keep all the ones you get in a separate space, and maybe make a note on the back to remind you who's who.

3. A notebook and pens
You'll want to take notes during those inspiring sessions. If you're more tech savvy, bring your tablet or laptop.

4. A good bag
You'll be picking up brochures and goodies from exhibitors, and papers from sessions, plus you can stash your wallet, phone, session program, snacks and more in one place.

Other things to remember:
Snacks
Water bottle
Gum or mints
Chargers for all your electronics

Brochures from your site
A smile!

Weather:  Right now, the forecast is looking like perfect spring weather, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, and only a slight chance of showers. Of course, we all know that is subject to change between now and Wednesday!  Keep up to date with the forecast HERE.  And keep your fingers crossed!

We Wish Everyone Safe Travels, and We'll See You In Nashville!!
